Initiator's contract & background

The 1% Leadership Platform is initiated and developed by Veysi, a Dutch-Kurdish-Turkish film artist from Amsterdam. His primary objective is to foster emotional involvement with the platform through various multimedia creations on characters Musa & Sofia.

Veysi’s proposed contract with the 1% Leadership Platform:

Over a span of five years, Veysi will produce music clips, short animations, TV spots, and live-action films centered around Musa & Sofia. These creations will aim to captivate the hearts of the platform’s members, who collectively form up to a maximum of 77 million people, constituting 1% of the world population.

Each member will have the right to buy and vote on Musa & Sofia’s policy.

For the initial five years, Veysi holds the exclusive rights to develop the background stories and visually present Musa & Sofia, as long as it does not interfere with the policies set by the members.

Veysi’s background:

Veysi Yildirim was born in 1975 in Turkey with congenital hearing loss. During his first four years of life, he did not speak, which led to the absence of linguistic feelings formed during the first two years of a child’s life. However, this was compensated by his heightened visual acuity. After he started wearing hearing aids, Veysi became intrigued by the impact of sound on the human body and spirit.

Having experienced life in contrasting worlds – West and East, deaf and hearing, and among different religious backgrounds – Veysi possesses a unique perspective on reality. Films have become his medium of choice to connect with people, guiding them to experience inner rest and contemplation through the cinematographic medium.

Veysi’s previous project DEEP LOOK (71 min.) is an immersive film that portrays penetrating portraits akin to visual songs, ranging from a 94-year-old woman farmer to a Uruguayan architect of luxury villas. The film takes viewers on a journey of compassion and inner peace, offering a wide range of experiences. It begins with an emotional impact but gradually induces a calming, almost meditative effect towards the end.
